Jill Suzette Wood, age 51, formerly of Lewisville, Texas, passed away on July 12, 2016 in Garden Grove, California. She was born on May 3, 1965 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jenny (Cornish) and Phillip Wood. Jill worked for Hartford Insurance for many years and for St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Medical Center of Lewisville, Texas in the nursing field. The later part of Jill’s career was with J.C. Penney.
Jill is survived by her parents, Jenny and Phillip Wood of Grand Lake, Oklahoma; two siblings, Lisa Moore and her husband, Rob of Frisco, Texas and Jeff Wood of Little Elm, Texas; sister-in-law, Vickie Wood; nephew, Eli Moore; two nieces, Faith Wood and Coco Moore; boyfriend, Bob Mattes; aunts, Ann Martin (Jon), Cathy Rainbolt; cousins, Anita Akin, Eddie Cornish, Cathey Dobbs, Jeremy Martin, Matt Martin, Kendra Rainbolt, Kim Rainbolt, Katie Stephens and Cheryl Townsend.
Jill is preceded in death by her grandparents, Russell Wood, Jean Shaubell, Will Shaubell, Francis Moseby, Tom Moseby and Edd Cornish.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, 75033, on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home in Frisco on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 2:00 PM.
