Jewel "Christine" Pennini of Prosper, Texas, passed away on August 25,2020, at the age of 79. Christine was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was born on January 15,1941, to the late Tom and Suzie Norris in Haynesville, Alabama.
Christine was the youngest of 11 siblings. She earned her bachelor's degree from Troy University, in Troy, Alabama in 1962. Christine moved to Orange Park, Florida to teach high school and met George Pennini who was in the U.S. Navy. They were married in July of 1963. Christine and George lived in Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and Texas during their 59 years together.
Christine was a kind, selfless, wife, mother, and grandma. She found joy in spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren and traveling with George. Her baked beans were famous at any get together with friends or family. Her laugh was contagious and she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband George Pennini; daughter, Susan McLain and husband Jack, grandchildren Connor and Tyler of Providence Village,TX; son, Alan Pennini and wife, Pamela, grandson, Sam of Allen,TX. She has one surviving sibling, her brother, Herbert Norris, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
