Mrs. Jessie Marguerite Bryant (née Craft) left this world on 28 Nov 2022 at the age of 103. She was born in Squeezepenny, Texas on 30 June 1919, and enjoyed a long life. She met her future husband, James Basil Bryant, at a possum hunt in Melissa, Texas. They were later married in Las Vegas, Nevada on 16 Oct 1941 and started a beautiful life together that lasted 66 years. They were an Air Force family for 30 years and were assigned around the United States and Europe. Along the way they had 2 children, Roxie Ann and James Robert. Jessie was an amazingly devoted, caring, giving, and inspiring mother and wife. She provided a loving atmosphere for family life. She was a dedicated sports fan, adopting the NY Yankees when stationed in NY and NJ. She was a huge Dallas Cowboy fan. She was also an avid Bridge player and joined clubs wherever they happened to be assigned. Her husband retired after a 30-year USAF career and they moved to Sherman, Texas to settle down. They purchased a camper and traveled extensively. Fishing, camping, sightseeing, and visiting family. She certainly lived an incredibly long and amazing life. In death she will rejoin her husband, not so far from where they met 90 years ago. Jessie is survived by her daughter Roxie, son Jim (Mary), grandchildren; Shannon Ellis (Drew), Austin (Tawnie), Travis, and Spencer (Shauna) and 5 great-grandchildren, Mary Carter, Oliver, Grant, Lucy, and Evelyn.
