Jessie Leroy Frank passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age 77 in McKinney, TX. Jessie was born on May 17, 1946, to Burle Leroy and Myra E. Frank (Gardner) in Bowie, TX. Jessie joined the Army and served several tours of duty in Vietnam as Special Forces, while in Vietnam he was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.
Upon leaving the Army, Jessie got his Bachelor of Music from Walla Walla and his Masters from Loma Linda. After getting his Masters Degree, Jessie moved to Nashville where he worked for RCA Victor. He toured with various artists, including, Glen Campbell. Jessie moved back to Texas to be closer to family. He received his Doctorate in Children's Music Therapy from SMU. He worked with Arts for People before becoming the Executive Producer for Lonestar Sound, a company that provides music for retirement centers, nursing homes and other seniors.
Jessie was also a square dance caller for many years and worked all over the U.S.. He is survived by his wife, Pat King; his sons, Daniel, John W., James A., and Aaron; and several grandchildren.
