Jessie Louise Claycomb, age 85, of Plano, Texas, passed away on September 28, 2011. She was born October 23, 1925, in Princeton, Texas, to Henry Franklin and Pearl (Rudd) Mann. On December 19, 1948, Louise married Wayne Claycomb, in McKinney, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plano.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Claycomb of Plano, Texas; daughters, Celia Johnson of Plano, Texas and Lynn Lyon and husband Mark of Allen, Texas; grandchildren, Rebekah McHugh and husband Stephen, Billy Johnson and wife Michelle, Jared Lyon, and Rachel Lyon; great-grandchildren, Lily Grace Johnson and Jack Patrick McHugh; other loving family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church, 1300 E. 15th Street, Plano, Texas 75074, with Dr. Leon Aduddell officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during an evening visitation on Saturday, October 1, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow.
