Dr. Jesse Martin Taylor III, of Plano, Texas passed away at 7:45am on July 16, 2020, at the age of 63. He was born on March 10, 1957, to Jesse Martin and Mary Elizabeth (Corbett) Taylor, Jr. in Provo, Utah.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy Taylor of Plano, Texas; children, Michelle Taylor and partner, Cinnamon Basco (Lakewood, California), Jesse Martin Taylor IV, and wife, Amber (Oak Point, Texas), Lacey Cleland and husband, Brandon (Azle, Texas), Robert Taylor (Plano, Texas), and Jacob Taylor (Plano, Texas); grandchildren, Aiden, Brooklyn, and Addilyn Taylor, and Maverick and Austynn Cleland; siblings, sister-in-law, Hilde Taylor, Emily Smart and husband, Scott, Melissa Kleinheksel and husband, John, Carolyn Farrer and husband, Randy, Clayton Taylor and wife, Tya, Sloan Taylor and wife, Afton, Grayden Taylor and wife, Staci, Mary Jane Lawrence and husband, Paul, Mary Anne Jensen and husband, Scott, and Jordan Taylor and wife, Charissa; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mary Taylor, and brother, Don Taylor.
In support of our local, state, and federal government, including CDC directives, and to protect the physical health, safety, and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.
A “come and go” visitation, and viewing, will be held on Friday, July 24 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 25, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, and will also be live-streamed on the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Facebook page. A recorded video will also be available following the funeral service on Jesse’s obituary page.
100 guests will be able to be in the chapel for the service to allow for social distancing. Immediate and extended family have precedent seating in the chapel for the service. Once the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Jesse and show their support to his family may remain at the funeral home in their vehicles, where they can watch the live-streamed service on personal devices (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.
Immediately following the funeral service, there will be a burial. ALL guests are welcome to attend, as long as social distancing is maintained. Family will have precedent under the tent and guests are recommended to bring umbrellas for shade.
