Jesse Wells Keeton, age 86, of Seagoville, Texas, passed away June 1, 2008 in Dallas, Texas. J.W. was born December 28, 1921 in Hillsboro, Texas, to Jesse Walter and Minnie (Wells) Keeton. He married Joyce Cox in Durant, Oklahoma. J.W. was a butcher and an entrepreneur. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Keeton of Seagoville, Texas; children, Lynda Keeton Baptiste and her husband, Charles of North Richland Hills, Texas, Mikki Keeton Granger and her husband, Monroe of Mesquite, Texas, Larry Keeton of Dallas, Texas, Gerald Keeton and his wife, Jan of Royse City, Texas, Robin Gragsone and her husband, Richard of Combine, Texas, Jesse Keeton of Seagoville, Texas, and Jay Keeton and his wife, Janie of Mesquite, Texas; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Sallis of Yantis, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
