Joseph Jesse Aguinaga "Jess"

June 27, 1952 - August 12, 2020

Jess, age 68, passed away on August 12, 2020 at Dallas Presbyterian hospital in Dallas Texas. He was born June 27, 1952 in Ocampo Guanajuato, Mexico to Pablo and Belem Aguinaga. 

He was a 1970 graduate from Escondido high school in Escondido, California. In 1975, he received bachelor degrees in physics and business management from UCSD in San Diego, California. He worked as a project manager and software developer and had recently retired. Jess married Julie (Gilster) Aguinaga on September 4, 1982.
 
He is survived by his wife, Julie Aguinaga of Allen Texas; son, Larry (Robyn) Aguinaga of Lewisville, Texas; daughter, Lisa (Mark) Farley of Allen, Texas; daughter, Sara Aguinaga and Eric Lafitte of Princeton, Texas; son, Anthony (Lynsie) Aguinaga of Lucas, Texas; grandchildren, Charles, Ava and AJ; sister, Rosemary (Bob) Prentice; sister, Carmen (Robert) Cervantes; brother, Raul Aguinaga; brother Ruben (Kelleen) Aguinaga; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.
 
Jess will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather who especially enjoyed spending time with his family and his role of grandpa. He touched many with his kind and gentle spirit and was a great listener who loved a lengthy one on one conversation. He is greatly loved and will be deeply missed.

A private family memorial service is planned.
