Jerry Nell (Miller) Billy, age 84, of Celina, Texas, passed away July 10, 2021. Jerry was born May 8, 1937, in Weston, Texas, to Crosby and Christine L. (Kelton) Miller. She married Frank Billy on April 17, 1953, in McKinney, Texas. Jerry loved to quilt and enjoyed gardening. She also loved spending time with animals, specifically her birds. Jerry was family oriented and loved her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Billy of Celina; sons, Frankie Billy of Celina and William Harvey Billy of Denver, Colorado; daughter, Gloria Chisum of Celina; grandchildren, Brandy Billy and Heather Blesh, both of Van Alstyne, Colton Billy of Benson, Arizona, Jennifer Johnson, Kimberly Chisum, and Kayla Billy, all of Celina, Texas; great-grandchildren, Jayde Seckinger of Van Alstyne, Dylan Johnson and Wyatt Eastham, both of Celina, Olivia Billy, Sofia Seckinger, Doug Seckinger, also of Van Alstyne, and Dawson Billy, of Celina; and sisters, Faye Kelley of Celina and Wanda Alexander of Atoka, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Virginia Foshee-Miller, Lillian Neeley, and Cathy Miller; and brothers, Don Miller, Keith Miller, and Robert Miller.
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2021, at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon, Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 109 S. Oklahoma St., Celina, Texas, 75009.
