IN LOVING MEMORY

Jerry Mack "J.T." Taylor, Jr.

Aug 10 1965 - Feb 08 2021

Jerry Mack “JT” Taylor Jr., 55, of McKinney, Texas went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, February 8, 2021.  JT was born August 10, 1965 in Lubbock, Texas to his parents Jerry Mack Taylor Sr. and Caroline Jeanne Taylor.  He married Eva Taylor on March 12, 2004 in Denton, Texas.

JT was a master electrician and spent his life helping others with any handy tasks that they needed complete.  He loved challenges and always wanted to put a smile on people’s faces with his craftsmanship.  He also spent 15 years working for UPS and was a proud member of the Teamsters Union.

He was a man who loved any body of water that he was able to catch a fish in.  He enjoyed traveling around the world, all sports, and golfing with his girls.  He was also an avid Texas Longhorns and Denver Broncos fan.  You might say he loved the color orange based on his daily attire.  He loved weekends together with his family and grandchildren around the pool that often ended in a heated game of 31.

More than anything, his love for Jesus Christ filled him daily with the Holy Spirit.  He wanted everyone to know his redemption story and how Jesus sought after him and rescued him.  He is now forever rejoicing in Heaven with our Savior.

JT is survived by his wife, Eva; children, Amanda Drewry and husband, Casey Drewry, Stephanie Henderson and husband, Colby Henderson, Elizabeth Taylor, Abigail Taylor, Jennifer Bender and husband, Richard Bender, and Ashley Sexton; grandchildren, Kendall Drewry, Hudson Drewry, Parker Bender, Richard Bender, Ryan Henderson, Gavin Sexton, Gracelyn Sexton, Geneva Miller, Graham Miller, and Guineveire Miller; parents, Jerry and Jeannie Taylor; siblings, Teresa Lee and husband, Teddy Lee, Kenny Taylor and wife, Andrea Taylor, David Taylor and wife, Gayle Taylor; and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Halle Drewry.
