Jerry Gillmore Cox, 73, was born November 29, 1932 in Pilot Point, Texas to Nathan Gillmore and Mary Francis Townzen Cox, and died March 14, 2006. His wife of 52 years, Mary Ann Cox, his two sons and daughters-in-law, Randall and Tonya, and Andy and Julie, embraced Jerry at the time of his death. His six grandchildren, Justin, Tiffany, Stephanie, Taylor, Ashley and Jamie, will forever keep the memory of their loving “PaPaw” in their hearts. Jerry will long be remembered for his love of family and friends and for his compassion and generosity to those who needed help. “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever” (Psalm 23:6).
