My sincerest sympathies to the Jerry Cantrell family. I knew Jerry from when we served with the Army Mortuary in Frankfurt, Germany. I spent a short time at the Headquarters before being assigned to the Army Mortuary in Vicenza, Italy. If I remember correctly, Jerry and Sue came to Italy to visit the Mortuary there and we spent one day visiting Venice together. Jerry and I served on a couple of funeral details together - one of which I have a photo of him and I across from each other at the head of the casket. Again, my sympathies to his family.
Jim Richardson, April 27, 2019 So sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing, he was like one of my brothers and my dad thought the world of Jerry! The picture of them in front of the funeral coach brought back memories & yet brought tears to my eyes! Jerry was a great person.
Marijewel Lair Dickerson , November 5, 2018 Sue and Bryan, I am so very sorry to read about Jerry’s passing. There was a time in my life where he was like a second father to me and I never took the opportunity to show my appreciation for him. He was such a neat man with amazing stories. If I ever needed a good laugh I’d go find him and just sit and listen. I remember him once telling me the best way to keep your dress shirt tucked in is to tuck it into your underwear. Such a genius idea I never would have thought of which I still to this day thanks to him. The time I had around him and your family will never be forgotten. Please accept our condolences for the entire Cantrell family during this time. Sam Thornhill Sam Thornhill, October 28, 2018 Ricky Dan and Joe, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your brother, Jerry.  He was such a nice man the few times I was around him.  Prayers for the entire family.
