Jeron Dean McGrew, 1 ½ years old of Rogers, Arkansas, died Thursday, September 2, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born March 3, 2003 to James David McGrew and Tracey Lynn (Elliott) McGrew. He attended First Baptist Church in Garfield. He loved green beans and crackers. Cell phones were his favorite and always carried one with him. His favorite song was “Follow The Raindrops” and favorite movie was the “Lion King” which he watched over and over. He could count to 3 and loved the number, everything good happened on the number 3. He recently had learned to count to the number 6. He is survived by his parents, James and Tracey McGrew of Rogers; three half-sisters, Triston Jo Morris of Rogers, Kailee Jordan McGrew, and Ashlyn Grace McGrew, both of Lumberton, Mississippi; one half-brother, Dillon James McGrew of Lumberton; maternal grandmother, Sherri Lonz of Helena, Montana; maternal grandparents, Grant and Deborah Elliott of LaJunta, Colorado; maternal great-grandparents, Norman and Clara Elliott of Garden City, Kansas; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Marilyn McGrew of Bonham, Texas. He is preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Doyle and Margaret Graham and his paternal great-grandparents, Jim and Inez McGrew and Bill and Clara Archer. A funeral service was held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 6, 2004 at First Baptist Church in Garfield with Rev. Benny Thompson officiating. A graveside service was held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 08, 2004 at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home held the local service.
