Jens Carsten Korstvedt, age 89, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on June 30, 2018. He was born on August 8, 1928, to Ruth (Petersen) and Carsten Korstvedt in Sewel, Chile. Jens had two sisters, Ellen (also know as Korkie), and Kari. Jens is preceded in death by his parents.
On December 31, 1950, Jens married Marcia Sue Hamilton. Jens is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marcia; two sons, Marcus Q. Korstvedt and Kenneth C. Korstvedt.
Jens always had a positive outlook of life and enjoyed talking with people, whether they be strangers or long time friends. He enjoyed being outdoors and sought to go for a morning walk every day. In the later years of his life he enjoyed watching and listening to the political arena in the United States and could often cite the issues of the day. He enjoyed family and family-meals and started each day with a generous variety of fruits, berries, and melons.
