Jennifer Lynn (Mackie) Lozano of Frisco, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at the age of 42, surrounded by her loving family. Jenn was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Melanoma of the liver in early March. She fought a tough battle with a positive attitude and unwavering faith in God.
Jenn was a kind and sweet soul with a glowing smile and an amazing laugh that touched the lives of so many. She was born on March 3, 1981, in Amarillo Texas. She was always strong in her faith in God and was a faithful servant. She went on many mission trips all through high school and was the student body Chaplain her senior year. She later attended Wayland Baptist University where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree that enabled her to follow her love of music becoming an inspirational music and piano teacher at Allen Elementary in Frisco.
Jenn married the love of her life, Rudy, on July 5, 2007, and was blessed with four beautiful children. She was a devoted wife and mother, ensuring her family knew they were loved. The biggest joy of her life was to support and cheer on her children in their interests and sports. She loved quality time with family camping, relaxing at the beach, boating at the lake, singing, and dancing. She was a daughter, sister, and granddaughter always caring, patient, and joyful. Jenn was also a loving friend, nurturing countless friendships and creating cherished memories with all.
Jenn will be greatly missed and always remembered by her loving husband, Rudy Lozano; children Kathryn, Ethan, Addyson, and Jackson; mother, Janice Gulick and step-father, Gary Gulick; father, Jerry Don Mackie and step-mother, Nancy Mackie; sister, Denise Browning (Jeff); grandmother, Joyce Mathis; mother-in-law, Dalia Porath (Carl); father-in-law, Condrado Lozano (Laticia); aunt, Tina Thomas (Bill); aunt, Brenda Baxter; uncle, Brad Mathis; and cousins, Jeremy Thomas and Dustin Mathis; many more beloved family; countless friends and colleagues.
Jenn was preceded in death by grandmother, Betty Mackie; grandfather, Jess Mathis; grandfather, Joe Edd Mackie.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Hope Fellowship-East Campus, 9950 Rolater Road, Frisco, Texas, on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM.
