Jenifer Linn Hartman of McKinney, Texas passed away on February 7, 2021 at the age of 75. She was born on November 28, 1945 to William Linn and Jennie (Schriver) Linn in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Jenifer lived a full and generous life. As a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was an avid Steelers fan who could fire and then re-hire most of the roster on any given Sunday. As much as she loved her Steelers, that love paled in comparison to her love for her children. Jenifer was many things, but the thing that gave her the most joy in life was her two children, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Jenifer was always quick with a smile and a laugh, she loved long hugs, and she loved living in the moment. She was a one of a kind and she will be sorely missed by those whose lives she forever touched.
Jenifer is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gary Hartman. She is also survived by her children, Michelle Gammon and husband, Joseph and Richard Hartman and wife, Celia; three grandchildren, Joey Gammon and wife, Emily, Jenna Duffy and husband, Clannad, and Claire Connor; two great grandchildren, John Carter Gammon and Jack Henry Gammon; sisters, Nancy McCall and Kathi Siciliano and husband, Dale; and her brothers, Bob Linn and wife, Annette and Bill Linn and wife, Susie.
She is preceded in death by her father, William Linn and her mother, Jennie Linn.
Jenifer’s kindness and warmth were her greatest gifts, and those gifts will live on through her loved ones. She may be gone, but Jenifer will never be forgotten. It is with a heavy heart that Jenifer’s family say goodbye to their Bucko, Mommy, and Gippy, but they take comfort knowing that she is looking down upon them, with a bright smile spread across her face, a cold beer in one hand, and her Terrible Towel in the other.
