Jeffrey Alan Francis, 48, lost his battle to cancer March 22, 2020 peacefully at his home in Farmersville, Texas. Jeffrey was born in Lima, Ohio on June 29, 1971 to Linda Harrod and Richard Francis. His family soon moved to Arlington, Texas where he grew up. He enjoyed the outdoors from a young age. He graduated from James Martin High School in 1989. After graduation he made his career working for different auto companies across the metroplex, but his time at Caliber Collision of Plano will be remembered most because they became more like family to him. Jeffrey was known to friends as Big Jeff. Jeff had several great passions that included playing softball, racing dirt track, going hunting and fishing. He spent many weekends doing what he loved with family and friends alike. 

Jeffrey is survived by his fiance Sheila Allen of Farmersville, his children Matthew Hoskins of Farmersville, Kayla Francis-Worby and Katrina Francis of Arlington, his father Richard Francis of Mansfield, his mother Linda and her husband Dean Cooksey of Arlington, sisters Tina Beam (husband Stacey) of Benbrook and Tamara Granados (husband Frank) of Arlington, brother Kyle Cooksey (wife Brandi) of Arlington, 4 step-brothers, many nephews and nieces, numerous loving relatives and friends.

Jeffrey was cremated as he had wanted and, in lieu of a funeral service now, a celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
