IN LOVING MEMORY

Jeffrey Stewart Power

Sep 21 1965 - Dec 12 2024

Jeffrey Stewart Power of The Colony, Texas passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 59. He was born on September 21, 1965, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Luther “Hap” Power and Arlene “Artie” (Stunich) Power. He grew up in Warren, Michigan, and graduated from Mott High School, where he began laying the foundation for his remarkable life.

Jeffrey met the love of his life, Cindy Justine Bates. The couple married on November 10, 2002, in Las Vegas, Nevada, embarking on a journey that would last for over two decades. Together, they shared countless memories and built a life centered on love, laughter, and support.

A lifelong professional in the automobile industry, Jeffrey dedicated much of his career to this field, ultimately retiring as the managing partner of Stonebriar Chevrolet in Frisco, Texas. His work ethic and leadership were a testament to his passion for the industry and the relationships he built throughout his career.

Outside of work, Jeffrey was an avid lover of life. He cherished time spent at the family lake house, enjoyed golfing, and had a passion for gambling and watching football. However, it was the moments spent with his family and friends that truly defined him. His warmth, humor, and generosity were felt by all who knew him, and he leaves behind a legacy of kindness and camaraderie.

He is survived by his loving wife Cindy Justine Power; son, David Stern and wife, Kelly; daughter, Heather Furrillo and husband, Mike; daughter, Rachel Tuma and husband, Shawn; son, Zach Bates; daughter, Samantha Blackwell and husband, Zach; fourteen grandchildren; one great granddaughter; mother, Arlene “Artie” Dickens and husband, Charles; brother, Ken Power; sister, Cindy McFall; sister, Shelly Weidel; in-laws, Jean and David Ayers; several nieces and nephews, and a host of other loving family and friends.
