Jeanie (Glover) Lockhart of McKinney, Texas formerly of Big Spring, Texas passed away on June 23, 2018 at the age of 80. She was born on December 16, 1937 to Hiram and Mildred (Hill) Glover in Big Spring, Texas. Jeanie grew up in Big Spring and married Tom Lockhart on September 22, 1952 in Big Spring. The light of her life was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jeanie is survived by her sons, Kem Lockhart and friend, Ronda Smith of McKinney, Texas; Jack Lockhart and wife, Tammy of Van Alstyne, Texas and Steven Lockhart and wife, Kim of Merit, Texas; grandchildren, Trey Lockhart of Midland, Texas, Lindsey Lockhart of Dallas, Texas, Clint Lockhart and wife, Aly of Glen Rose, Texas and their daughters, Harper and Emerson Lockhart; Clay Lockhart and wife, Alyssa of Amarillo, Texas and baby, Rowan Lockhart due in November; sisters, Linda Brimmage and husband, Larry of Farmersville, Texas and Nell Granberry and husband, Bo of Naples, Texas; her sister-in-law, Lois Glover of Celeste, Texas; and numerous other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tom Lockhart; her son, Tommy Don Lockhart; and her brother, Hiram Lee Glover.
A Remembrance Gathering will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018 in the Great Room of the Grand Texan, 2491 Country View Lane, McKinney, Texas 75069. A private family memorial graveside service will be held at a later date in Big Spring.
