Jeanette Iverson Franks, age 68, of Plano, Texas, passed away July 20, 2007, in Plano. She was born on July 9, 1939, in Winnsboro, Louisiana, to Robert Iverson and Mae Fowler. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and friends. Jeanette was a legal assistant with the federal government. She is survived by her sons, Dewayne Cox and his wife Ann of Ft. Worth and Kevin Cox and his wife Jennifer; daughter, Kelly Ward of Allen, TX; grandchildren, Peyton, Presley, Garrett, Spencer, Chloe; and four step-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Frisco, Texas, with Dr. Mark Forrest officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital For Children, 3100 Samford Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71103.
