IN LOVING MEMORY

Jeanette Fields

Mar 23 1940 - Nov 22 2024

Friday, November 22nd, 2024 marked the close of a beautiful life when God called Jeanette Fields from being in flesh to being in spirit. She fought a good fight, she kept the faith, and she is now with The Lord.

Jeanette Fields was born on March 23, 1940 to the late Troy Henry Hollinger and Nettie Aretha Hollinger as the third eldest of nine children in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was raised in the church and accepted Christ at an early age. Her family moved to Southern California and continued their path toward living to please God.

On November 2, 1957, she united with Howard Cecil Fields and they were married for 61 years until Howard’s departing. Their favorite thing to do together was drink a strawberry milkshake and listen to the juke box. They acknowledge five children, two sons and three daughters. Jeanette worked in many roles in healthcare but was most known for her skill in medical coding. Her attention to detail put her in many positions of training others.

Jeanette loved listening to anyone, especially over a phone call, and offering advice when she saw fit. She always spoke her mind, telling you the truth, because that was how she demonstrated her love for you. She loved to cook, eat, listen to music, watch shows, shop, and spend time with her family.

Jeanette leaves to cherish her memory: her late husband Howard, her children Juliette, Roderick, Nicole, late Howard Jr., and late Stacy, her grandchildren Cerrone (Marisol), Cedric, Cymone, and Justin, great- grandchildren Cerrone Aaron (Esmeralda), Cyerah, Christiana, Christian, Trevor, Noah, and Eli, great-great grandchild Remy, brothers late Troy Jones, late Troy Hollinger, David, and Daniel, sisters Mondella, Annette, Doris, Donnette, the Fields family, Hollinger family, the Jones family, the Williams family, and a host of relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
