Funeral services for Jeanette Edna Covey Noe, 90 year old Leonard resident, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday August 19th at the First Presbyterian Church of Leonard. Rev. Ralph Graham will officiate. Family visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday August 18th at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Burial will be in the Leonard Cemetery. Mrs. Noe was born September 24, 1918 at Garden City, Kansas. Her parents were William and Alice Moyer Covey. She graduated from High School at La Junta, Colorado and attended Wichita Business School. She married Charles Louis Noe in 1941. To this union was born Charles J. Noe in 1947 and Kathryn Alice in 1952. Mr. Noe was a civil engineer and worked for the Corps of Engineers in Colorado. When WWII began that corps office was moved to Albuquerque, N.M. They lived there for nearly 20 years, then moved to Dallas and later moved to the Leonard area. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Leonard, Texas and a member of P.E.O. Mrs. Noe is survived by her son: Charles J. Noe of Bonham, Texas and her grandson: Austin D. Noe of Anna, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Louis Noe and her daughter: Kathryn Alice Garlutzo.
