Mrs. Jean Cook, age 75 of McKinney, TX, passed away September 2, 2005 in McKinney. She was born on July 4, 1930 in Josephine, TX to Gene G. and Inez (Rickman) Bentley. She married Fred Cook on January 15, 1948 in College Station, TX. Jean was retired from Central National Bank. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of McKinney where she served faithfully and was active as well in her community. Jean is survived by her husband, Fred Cook of McKinney and a host of friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 3, 2005, at the First United Methodist Church, Rev. John Allen and Rev. James B. Palmer officiating. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Caddo Mills, TX.
