It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of our beloved Javier Ayestas, a devoted family man who passed away on December 22, 2023. Javier's untimely departure has left a void in our lives, but his memory will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Born on February 21, 1960, in Honduras, Javier was a beacon of strength and love within his family. His unwavering commitment to his loved ones was evident in his actions, as he always went above and beyond to anticipate their needs even before they were expressed. Javier's military background instilled in him a sense of organization and punctuality, which he applied to all aspects of his life. It was not uncommon for him to arrive at gatherings a good 30 minutes early, ensuring that everything was in order and that his loved ones were taken care of.

Despite English not being his first language, Javier had a remarkable wit and a penchant for making quips and sarcastic remarks whenever the opportunity arose. His sense of humor provided endless laughter and joy to those around him, creating a light-hearted atmosphere in even the most mundane of moments. Javier's ability to find humor in everyday situations was a testament to his vibrant spirit and his desire to spread happiness to those he held dear.

Javier never hesitated to express his love and affection for his family. He was a man of few words but made sure that his actions spoke volumes. Whether it was through small gestures of kindness, heartfelt conversations, or simply being there for his loved ones during times of need, Javier's love knew no bounds. Javier's legacy as a loving and dedicated family man will forever be engraved in the hearts of his loved ones. He is survived by his daughter, Loren Mayorquin (Phillip Cooley); son, Christopher Ayestas; daughter, Gabriella Tonne (Jonathan); son, Luis Ayestas (Kelle Story); son Ahmed Mousa; grandchildren, Elias, Zaine, and Arlow; and numerous other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Natalia Ayestas and his wife, Maria Ayestas.
