Jason Webster Murphy, age 36, of Arlington, Texas, passed away February 25, 2008. Jason was born February 8, 1972, in McKinney, Texas, to Mickey and Tina (Smith) Murphy. He married Carolyn Dickerson on November 19, 2000, in Cedar Hill, Texas. Jason grew up in McKinney and Plano, graduating from Plano East High School in 1990. He worked as a Project Manager in the construction business for the last eight years. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; children, Madison Murphy, Elizabeth Murphy, Kaitlyn McNaughton, and Kristen McNaughton; parents, Mickey and his wife, Darlene of Plano, Texas and Tina Murphy of McKinney, Texas; grandparents, Elsie Mae Smith of Princeton, Texas and Orlena Rigsby of Plano, Texas; brother, Michael Murphy and wife, Tiffany of Howe, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 29, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 6:00 PM Thursday evening. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home on behalf of the family to defray service expenses.
