Jason Lyn James, age 32, of Wylie, Texas passed away September 21, 2006, in Plano, Texas. He was born November 29, 1973, in McKinney, Texas to Rickie Lyn and Theresa (Allen) James. Jason was a 1992 graduate of Prosper High School. He attended the University of North Texas and earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration. He worked at Home Depot in Wylie for 5 years. Jason was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wylie. He is survived by his parents, Rickie James and wife, Carol of Gunter, Texas; grandmothers, Viola Dorothy James of Overton, Texas and Florene Allen of Prosper, Texas; sister, Angela Strickland and husband, Keith of Celina, Texas; step-sister, Stephanie Caldwell of Richardson, Texas; nephews, Tyler and Kyle Strickland of Celina, Texas; niece, Shelby Strickland of Celina, Texas; fiancee, Melissa Faz of Wylie, Texas; and a host of other family and friends. His mother, Theresa preceded him in death. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 P.M., Monday, September 25, 2006, in the First Baptist Church of Wylie with Pastor Kris Segrest officiating. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
