Jason Andrew “Andy” Taylor, age 50, of McKinney, Texas, passed away November 19, 2017. Andy was born September 19, 1967, in Dallas, Texas, to Jesse Thomas and Diane Elaine (Millington) Taylor. Andy graduated from Lakeview Centennial High School in Garland and attended North Texas State University. He was employed with Blue Cross Blue Shield for over twenty-eight years as an IT Manager. Andy then went to work at HCL America for the last several months. He married Laura Jean Gibson on November 1, 1996, in Frisco, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Taylor of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Abbey Taylor of McKinney, Bethany Bruner and husband, Chris of Greenville, Texas, and Brittany Faulknor of Terrell, Texas; grandson, Gavin Bruner; mother, Diane Taylor of McKinney; father, Tom Taylor of Dallas; mother-in-law, Sharon Neely of Magnolia, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Rev. Donald Gibson.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 24, 2017, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen.
