Jarrell Wayne Bethard, age 58, of Frisco, Texas, passed away in Plano, Texas on November 21, 2025. He was born on July 20, 1967, to Uhlus Wayne and Wanda (Freeman) Bethard in Rockdale, Texas.
Jarrell grew up with a deep appreciation for family, hard work, and the simple joys of life. He graduated from Pinetree High School in 1985 and went on to earn his business degree from the University of Texas at Tyler. On February 23, 1991, he married the love of his life, Carroll Denise Winchester, in Longview, Texas. From that day forward, Jarrell devoted himself to building a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering loyalty to those he cared about most.
Jarrell lived with a full heart. He had a quiet strength, a genuine kindness, and a remarkable ability to make people feel valued. His love for the outdoors—whether he was hunting at sunrise, casting a line into the water, or exploring new places—reflected the way he approached life: with patience, gratitude, and a deep appreciation for God’s creation. He was an incredible cook who found joy in sharing meals with the people he loved, always bringing everyone together around the table.
Above all, family was everything to him. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a gentle, doting “Poppop” who lit up whenever his granddaughter, Riley, walked into the room. His greatest legacy is the love he poured into his family and the countless memories they now carry close to their hearts.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Bethard of Frisco, Texas; son, Justin Bethard and wife, Makalee, of McKinney, Texas; granddaughter, Riley Bethard; brothers, Chris Bethard and wife, Jennifer, of Gilmer, Texas, and Jeff Bethard and wife, Staci, of Marshall, Texas; and his parents, Wayne and Wanda Bethard.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Berkshire Chapel. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Springhill Cemetery, Naples, Texas. The service will also be livestreamed at the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/jarrell-wayne-bethard.
Jarrell will be remembered for his generous spirit, his love for life, and the way he made every moment a little brighter for those lucky enough to know him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his impact will remain forever.
