Janie Hsu, age 89, of Plano, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. She was born in China on March 20, 1933, to Lian Ying Pong and Yong Hui Chi. Janie obtained her college degree from China and had a successful career as a respected teacher. She married the love of her life, Steve Chieh Hsu, in Taiwan in 1956 and they were blessed with two children. She was also a baptized Christian and an active member of the Chinese Gospel Church of Plano. Janie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
Janie is survived by her son, Charlie Hsu and his wife, Chelsea, of Plano, Texas; her daughter, Lulu Hsu and her husband, Jeremy Chiou, of Plano; her grandsons, Nathan Hsu of Plano and Justin Chiou of Frisco; and her granddaughter, Ashley Hsu and her husband, Philip Lee, of San Francisco, California.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Steve Chieh Hsu, and her parents.
