Janie Faye Archer

February 24, 1933 - October 23, 2017

Janie Faye Archer, age 84, of Forney, Texas, passed away on October 23, 2017.  She was born February 24, 1933 to W.A. and Annie (Kindle) Schoolcraft in McKinney, Texas.  Early in her career Janie worked at the sewing factory in McKinney; as time moved on, she later worked at her son Buster’s automotive shop.  She was a very happy person; her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, fishing and camping.  Most of all Janie loved her family and her fellowship at the Assembly of God.

She is survived by her son, Charles Buster and wife Pamela of Forney, Texas; grandchildren, Rowdy Buster and wife Amy of Cleburne, Texas, Troy Slaughter and wife Karol Ann of Trinidad, Texas, Charles Buster, Jr., Adam Buster and wife Alexis, Thalina Berry and husband Jimmy, Joe Hansard all of Forney, Texas, James Hansard and wife Krystal of Terrell, Texas; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; many other loving relatives and friends.

Janie is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Archer; son, Bobby Joe Hansard; parents, W.A. and Annie Schoolcraft; brother, Scotty Schoolcraft; and sister, Louise Thornbird.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway N., Allen, Texas 75013.  Interment will follow at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Lowry Crossing, Texas.  The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday evening, October 27, 2017 at the funeral home.
