Janice S. Hook passed away on July 15, 2020 at the age of 87. She was born on February 21, 1933 in Hackensack, New Jersey to John W. Scofield and Beatrice Neve Scofield.
Janice had a wonderful, sassy life and was much loved by her family and friends. She will be missed but we know how much she loved us as a devoted mother and grandmother. We are lucky have so many wonderful memories.
She earned her Nursing degree at Fairleigh Dickinson College in Englewood, New Jersey. Janice was a devoted and caring nurse before her marriage and again in later years before retiring in her 60’s.
Janice married the love of her life, Robert Bruce Hook on August 31, 1958 in Cresskill, NJ. They lived and raised their family in NJ, NY, TX and TN.
Janice is survived by her 4 children, Bruce D. Hook and wife Karen of Lake Jackson, Texas; Cathleen H. Fusco of Farmersville, Texas; Patricia H. Walker and husband Michael of Farmersville, Texas; and Christopher A. Hook and wife Ann of Rome, Georgia. Janice is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 adored great-grandchildren.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Bruce Hook; grandson, Britt M. Walker and brother, John W. Scofield Jr.
A visitation will be held at 10:00A.M. on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Hurst’s Fielder-Baker Funeral Home, Farmersville TX. The Funeral service will be at 10:30A.M. that same day with a burial following the service at I.O.O.F. in Farmersville, Texas.
