Janice Jean Feagin, 80, of Leonard, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026. God took her hand as she entered eternal rest.
Known affectionately as "The Animal Whisperer," Janice was a lifelong animal lover whose kindness and passion extended to all of God's innocent creations. Her love for His bounty was immeasurable, embracing her pets, gardening, friends, family, and even strangers with open arms. A jokester at heart, she had a special gift for making everyone around her smile.
She is survived by her best friend and daughter, Sherry Clark, and son-in-law, Amos Clark, of Leonard, Texas; her three beloved grandsons, Matthew and Reese Clark, Adam Clark, and Samuel Clark, all of Leonard, Texas; and her two brothers, Loyd Crawford of Van Alstyne, Texas, and Timmy Don Crawford of Plano, Texas.
Janice was preceded in death by her father, Homer Feagin; her stepfather and mother, Billy Ray and Betty Crawford; and her two brothers, Weldon Feagin and Bobby Davis.
