I stumbled across this obituary last night, and it was shocked to see the beautiful Janice in an obituary. I am so sorry to see this. She was a true friend to me when we were in our 20's in Topeka KS. I never forgot her, always wondered what happened to her, and feel saddened that we were living in the Dallas/Ft Worth area for over 20 years and never knew it. I wish that I had looked for her as well as other friends before they passed from the earth. Knowing Janice is no longer with us saddens me in a deep way. I am sorry for you loss, Bill. Vicki Howell dfwgrlfrnd@aol.com Vicki Diane Howell, November 21, 2011 We didn't know Janice had passed until today. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with each member of the family. Janice was a friend and although Cheryl only knew her through my class reunions, we both thought the world of her. Bill & Cheryl Hodges Bill & Cheryl Hodges, April 9, 2011 I was very sad to hear of Janice's passing. I knew Janice when she a teenager and we had a lot of adventures and fun together "back in the day." I'm grateful I had the opportunity to know her then, and that she found a true love in Bill, had children and grandchildren that she got to spend a good deal of her life with to love and enjoy. I know she will be deeply missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Vicki (Knudsen) Bardsley, April 1, 2011 I worked with Janice at Plano ISD Transportation. She was always so kind and patient with everyone. I never saw her get annoyed with anyone even when she had good reason too. She never spoke a harsh or unkind word to anyone, never lost her patience in any situation. She always had a smile on her face. She gave me encouragement many times when I was struggling. She will be greatly missed. Christie (Hooper) Turner, April 1, 2011 Dearest Bill,I read this just minutes ago. I am so so sorry!Janice was so special to me, as you are. George always told me that God has a plan! I hung on to that Scripture all these years he has been gone, and I still hang on to it! You can find it in Jeremiah 29:11. Just KNOW she is with the Lord, and George is probably showing her all around! Give Webb and Jennifer my love and save some for yourself. Sherry Vaughn-Lawrence, March 31, 2011 Bill & Family, You are all in our thoughts and prayers in the loss of Janice. We pray you will be comforted by the hope of heaven, the love of God and prayers of friends. Donald Robert Larkin, March 31, 2011 Dear Bill and family, We are very sorry to hear the sad news.
