Janice Marie (Evans) Yoder

Janice Marie Evans Yoder slipped into Heaven on March 27, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 29, 1945 in Osage City Kansas to Claude John Evans and Mary Ellen Williams. She graduated from Osage City High School and Clark Business College and worked as a secretary to Dr. Roy Menninger of the Menninger Foundation. She married her flyboy husband Bill in 1969 while he was stationed at Forbes AFB. She will be missed by many friends and family who will always have a special place in their hearts for her. She is survived by Bill, her husband of 41 years, her mother Mary Ellen, daughter Jennifer, son Webb and his wife Sherah, her Granddaughters Kaitlyn and Kimber and two brothers, Duane and Owen. Both of these charities were very close to Janice’s heart. All donations are tax deductible. Thank you. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011, at 12:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
