Janice Danielle Moore of McKinney, Texas passed away on October 27, 2019 at the age of 81. She was born on August 24, 1938 to Oney and Irene Tucker in Grand Prairie, Texas. Janice was a graduate of Forest Avenue High School in Dallas, Texas. She married John Moore on June 20, 1987 in Amarillo, Texas. Janice began a career in banking for First National Bank and then worked for Texas Commerce Bank of Dallas which became Chase Bank, where she retired as a Trust Administrator after 30 years of service. After retirement, she started Jan’s Administrative Service. Janice was a member of Altrusa, where she was a past president. She was a member of First Baptist Church in McKinney.
Janice is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, John Moore of McKinney, Texas; son, David Bruner and wife, Mary Ann of Auburn, Alabama; daughter, Kay Williamson and husband, Wade of Dickinson, Texas; step-daughter, Modenia Whitaker and husband, Larry of Mesquite, Texas; step-sons, Stephen Moore and wife, Tincy of Rockwall, Texas and Kyle Moore and wife, Donna of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Dwayne Tucker of McKinney, Texas; and numerous other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oney and Irene Tucker; brother, Clinton Tucker; and step-son, John Robert Moore, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 1615 W. Louisiana Street, McKinney, Texas 75069. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. A private graveside service will be held prior to the service at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
