Janette I. Bryson Porter, age 84, formerly of McKinney, Texas, passed away December 28, 2009, in Mineola, Texas. Mrs. Porter was born on January 23, 1925, in McKinney, to Henry Jacob Warden and Myrtle Irene Rich. In 2001 she married Tom W. Porter in Durant, Oklahoma. Mrs. Porter is survived by son, Allen Farley and wife Ann, of Oklahoma; daughter, Joyce Whitehouse and husband Terry, of Mineola, Texas; six grandchildren; several great & great-great grandchildren; brother, Ray Warden of Garland, Texas; sister, Ozella Farley of Allen, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Porter; brother, Earl Warden; son, Bill Farley; and grandson, Shawn Farley. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, December 30th, at Ridgeview Memorial Park, with Brother Scott Simpson officiating.
