James Raymond England

James Raymond (Jimmy) England was born May 28, 1940 in Hawthorne, California to Raymond England and Dollie Mae Marlow England. He grew up in Whitewright, Texas. His family later moved to Smithfield. He married the love of his life, Wanda Mearl Will on October 24, 1958 in Madill, Oklahoma. They were married almost 57 years when she passed away in 2015. He passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at his home at the age of 75 years. He was a long time resident of Saginaw.

Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping and spending time at the deer lease with family and friends. He also enjoyed working in his shop building cannons and bird houses.

Jimmy was well known in the fiberglass and metal flake boat repair industry. He was meticulous with his work. During his younger years he raced boats. He worked many years at Marion Herring Marine at Eagle Mountain Lake. He worked at various other places and retired from Harris Fiberglass in 2005.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; wife Wanda; and brother, Gary England.

He was survived by sons, James England and wife Janice of Azle, Randy England of Saginaw, and Terry England of Mexia; grandchildren, Nicole, Jessica, and Jason; great-grandchildren, Lorna and Bryan; sister, Susan Kane and husband Joe; numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Monday, May 23, 2016 at 11am at Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright, Texas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Dave Bradley.

Jimmy was greatly loved and will be missed.
