James Anthony Rosso, Jr. passed away January 1, 2022 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 70. He was born February 14, 1951 to James Anthony and Sally Yvonne (Greer) Rosso in Kansas City, Missouri. Jim grew up in McAlester, Oklahoma and graduated from McAlester High School in 1969. He earned his Bachelor Degree in Economics from the University of Oklahoma in 1973. Jim married Pamela Sue Lovell in Noble, Oklahoma on June 8, 1974. He was an appraiser in the commercial real estate and banking industry, working 27 years with Bank of America until his retirement on June 1, 2020. Jim loved his family and most importantly spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Rosso of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Leslie Anne Gruber and husband, Matt of McKinney, Texas; son, John Michael Rosso and wife, Carolann of Aubrey, Texas; grandchildren, Juliette and Isaac Gruber, and Josephine Rosso; brother, Steven Rosso and wife, Carol of McAlester, Oklahoma; brother, Jeffrey Rosso and wife, Yvette of McKinney, Texas; several nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family and friends.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, James and Yvonne Rosso, and his sister, Cathy McAlester.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 7, 2022 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas following the mass.
