James R. Klingensmith

James Richard Klingensmith of Dallas, Texas passed away July 12, 2020, at the age of 59. He was born on September 14, 1960 to Richard Guy Klingensmith and Rita Margaret Deneen in Warren, Ohio. James grew up in Warren, Ohio where he graduated from Howland High School in 1978. He graduated from Trumbull Business College with an associate degree in accounting. James worked for THD, Temporary Housing Directory, as a research and adjustments analyst. He enjoyed going to the movies and traveling; he was a foodie and also enjoyed going to the casino.

James is survived by his lifelong friend, Ricky Ganceres of Dallas, Texas; mother, Rita Klingensmith of Warren, Ohio; brothers and sisters, Gary Klingensmith and wife, Charlene of Warren, Ohio, Tara Cella of Niles, Ohio, Rich Klingensmith and wife, Mary Ann of Warren, Ohio, Karen Fitzpatrick and husband, Greg of Richardson, Texas, Joan Emanuel of Castle Rock, Colorado, John Klingensmith and wife, Blanca of Carrollton, Texas; dogs, Jackson and Diesel; several nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Misko and brother, Robert Klingensmith.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of 100 guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, and will also be live-streamed on the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Facebook page and a recorded video will be available following the funeral service on James’ obituary page. Interment will immediately follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.

However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor James and show their support to his family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

A visitation will be held prior to the service on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m..
