James (Jim) Garland Whitted passed away in Farmersville, Texas on March 11, 2023, at the age of 66. He was born on August 22, 1956, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to parents Garland Ernest Whitted and Edna Faye (Reynolds) Whitted.
Jim married Kim Mathews on Oct 15, 1976. Together they had 3 children.
He is survived by his wife Kim Whitted of Farmersville, Texas, son Matthew Whitted of Farmersville, Texas, daughter Jennifer Whitted of Anna, Texas and Samantha Enoksen and her husband Nicholaus of Anna, Texas. His grandchildren Aidan Whitted, Kimberly Freeman, Abigail Freeman and Adon Enoksen.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Garland and Faye Whitted and one brother, Robert Whitted.
The most important thing in Jim’s life was his family and their times spent together. Jim loved his Harley Davidson motorcycles and was still an avid rider. Plus, Jim was a TALENTED guitar player and loved music. He had one of the biggest hearts around and always made friends easily – especially the four-legged varieties.
A visitation will be held at Hurst’s Fielder-Baker Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 9:00am. The Graveside service will follow at 10:00am at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville, Texas.
The graveside service will not have a dedicated speaker just all of us sharing our remembrances, experiences, thoughts and love for Jim.
