James Clifton Whistler

Now, in God’s loving arms, James Clifton Whistler, loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many, passed away July 31, 2005 in Brownwood, Texas. Born August 16, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas. Formally employed at Western Electric and most recently at ACT Precision Sheet Metal. His passions included baseball and track during his youth in Corsicana, and later coaching his children in youth sports. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and a talented sportsman who loved deer hunting. Among many who greatly loved and will miss him are his wife, Jane; mother, Othell Hunt; father, John Whistler; brother, Chick; sisters, Tammy and Lisa; sons, Billy, Troy and wife Tanja; daughters, Julie, Sheila and husband Paul; nephews, Wade and Colby; grandchildren, Ronnie, Crystal, Andrew, Taylor and Grant; and great-granddaughter, Hailey. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, August 4, 2005, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, Wednesday.
