James Vincent Damiano

James Vincent Damiano, age 49, of McKinney, Texas, passed away December 26, 2017.  James was born July 3, 1968, in Syracuse, New York, to Vincent Rocco and Betty Jean (Rockwell) Damiano, Jr.  In 1975 he moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he attended grade school.  James then moved to Texas in 1980 and graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1986.  After attending Stephen F. Austin University, James worked with his father, managing and operating Surety Bond Connection Agency.  He started his own business in 2000, Construction Building Services, LLC where he did remodeling and restorations. 

James enjoyed motorcycles, was an avid reader, and loved spending time in the water.  He also enjoyed cutting grass for the quiet time that it gave him.  Most importantly, James loved his family, especially his daughters and his childhood sweetheart.

He is survived by his daughters, Savannah Damiano and Brooklyn Damiano and their mother, Candace Damiano; parents, V. R. “Jim” and Betty Damiano of McKinney, Texas; sisters, Cheryl Lynn Humphrey and husband, Shane of McKinney and Rebecca Damiano Gebhardt and husband, Chris of Plano, Texas; nephews, Justin Humphrey, Taylor Humphrey, Tanner Duggan and Trevor Duggan; and a host of other loving family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Custer Road United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas.  Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.  The family will receive friends during the visitation from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Friday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.

Memorial donations may be made to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America or the Foundation for Alcoholism Research.
