James Weldon Tuley, 72, of Westminster, Texas passed away August 24, 2010, in McKinney, Texas. He was born on August 4, 1938 in McKinney, Texas to William Pierson and Liller Mae (Davis) Tuley. James worked his entire career in the concrete industry, retiring from Lattimore Materials on December 31, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Mary Anna (Lindsey) Tuley of Westminster, Texas; children, Janice Turner-Craig and her husband, Richard of Green Valley, Arizona, Debra Wright and her husband, Charles of McKinney, Texas, James Michael Tuley of Westminster, Texas, and Jimmy Wayne Tuley and wife Phyllis, of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda, Robby, Ashley, AmiJo, and Kissimmee; great-granddaughters, Alexandria and Leah; brother, Richard Tuley of Pilot Grove, Texas; sisters, Lucille Hill of McKinney, Texas, Lois Harpole of Westminster, Texas, and Belinda Freeman of Whitewright, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and numerous other loving family and friends. James was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert, Albert, and William C. Tuley, sisters, Wanda Crane, Cora Gibson, an infant sister, nephews, Ronald Crane, Gary Crane, and William D. Tuley, and grand-niece, Patti Hill. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 29, 2010, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Pastor Joe Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Van Alstyne Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
