James Michael Denman passed away January 19, 2024 in Plano, Texas at the age of 66. He was born to Homer Lee and Rosemary (Warren) Denman on January 24, 1957 in Renton, Washington.
The family lived in California for a short while and then moved to Anna, Texas, where James graduated from high school in 1974. In February of 1974, James met his wife to be and two years later they were married, while James was in the Air Force. The couple then moved to Alexandria, Louisiana. Upon James’ honorable discharge, they moved back to North Texas. He worked for E Systems which is now L-3 Communications in Greenville. James worked for 35 years before his health took him away from work. In 1983, their son Chris was born and in 1986 their son Michael was born. James loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting deer but loved killing pigs. James was a gun enthusiast that loved anything with a motor, from ATVS to trucks and everything else. He loved tinkering with things. James was a firecracker that always had a smart and witty remark. He loved his politics and knew his opinions and didn’t mind sharing. James had a strong will and when he set his mind to something, he was diligent in accomplishing the goal.
James is survived by his wife, Charlotte Denman of The Colony, Texas; son, Christopher Alan Denman and his wife, Denise of The Colony, Texas; son, Michael Alexander Denman and partner, Brandy Netherton of Carrollton, Texas; grandchildren, Amara, Aiden, and Rebecca; brother, Bryan Denman of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, David Lee Denman.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The family will receive guests for visitation from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday evening at the funeral home.
