Mr. James L. (Jimmy) Lusk, age 90, of Spring, Texas passed away July 13, 2007 at his home. He was born July 4, 1917, in Frost, Texas to and Katie (Prater) Lusk. On February 5, 1945, he married Mildred Cobb in Rockwall, Texas. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Lusk was the owner of Lusk Paint and Body Shop in McKinney, Texas. He was of the Disciples of Christ faith. He is survived by his daughter, Judy Lusk Potter of Spring, Texas; grandchildren, Staci Huff and her husband, Cody, Christi Kellar and James Kellar all of Spring; great grandchildren, Kyli Huff, Matthew Taras and Emma Leigh Kellar; brothers, Ray Lusk of Blooming Grove, Texas and Lee Lusk of Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred; parents; brothers, Clyde Lusk, L.D. Lusk, Wilson Lusk, C.C. Lusk and Buddy Lusk; sisters, Zola Gillan and Ruby Warren. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2007, at Ridgeview Memorial Park with Dr. Randall R. Smithson officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 6:30 p.m., Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
