He enjoyed his life as a salesman and the oil industry with Capstar Drilling; never retiring because work was fun.  Jim helped Allen, Texas to grow through the Economic Development Corporation which was a special and much enjoyed project for him.  He had a passion for fishing and never tired of planning travel.  Trips to Africa, Australia, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Singapore and Mexico provided him with endless stories to share.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Brazeal; son, Brian Brazeal; daughters, Eileen Grimes and Elizabeth Ann Brazeal; brother, Don Brazeal and wife, Sharon; sister, Marilyn Pannell and husband, John; brother-in-law, Bill Laseter; seventeen grandchildren and great-grandchildren; six nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Brett and Carolyn Nisonger, August 22, 2019 I will miss you Jim, loved talking to you about just anything. He was a great man. Rose Riggs, August 21, 2019 I am so sad to hear of Jim's passing. Our friendship goes back about 35 years, during which I came to know Jim through our business relationship. I came to know him as a man who loved his family above all, and someone who always had a humorous take on life and a good joke to share. The world is a better place because of Jim, and we will miss him greatly. Bob Kausch, August 21, 2019 Jim was a great friend and business partner, and I loved him very much! I will miss his phone calls. Danny Drennan, August 21, 2019
