IN LOVING MEMORY

James Jacob

Jul 18 1962 - Apr 14 2021

James Jacob was born in Keekozhoor, Ranny, Kerala, on July 18, 1962, to Mr. P.C. Jacob and the late Mrs. Annamma Jacob.  He was the second of the four children born to this God-fearing family: Jayamol, Jessy, and Johnson.

He was known for being his mother’s protector and going with her everywhere.

After completing his college education in Kerala, he migrated to New Jersey in 1983.

Upon acclimating to the U.S., James pursued and completed his associate degree at NJIT. He began his career in Amtrak as an electrician and worked his way to become a Mechanical Foreman by his retirement in 1999.

James met and married Lizy, on November 21, 1988, at age 26. Lizy was able to join him in the U.S. in 1989, where they first started their family life in Newark, NJ. In 1998, the couple relocated to Roseland, NJ, where they raised their children Jules & Julie. They enjoyed 32 years of marriage together and were inseparable.

Around 2008, James wanted to relocate to Texas to be in warmer weather and pursue small business opportunities. He and Lizy decided in 2010 to live in Frisco, Texas, where he owned and operated a full-service car wash for many years. During this time, James made sure that he and Lizy were able to travel and enjoy life. One of his fondest memories was being in Kerala on a houseboat and enjoying the fishing and scenery.

James always provided for his family and for everyone who needed help or advice. He taught us to give, even when we had nothing. He has always cared for those around him; now, he will be held in love and everlasting peace. Gone but never forgotten, our superhero will go to his heavenly home.

We look forward to being with him again, in Paradise when the time comes. He is survived by his wife, son, daughter, two sisters, and one brother.

The visitation and funeral service will be held at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Drive, Frisco, Texas, on Saturday, April 17, 2021, beginning at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Rev. Matthew Matthews.  Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco, Texas.

For those not in attendance, the service will be live streamed promptly at 10:00 AM on the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Frisco Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow-Frisco-757595044332865/
