James "Jim" Chandler

Apr 22 1944 - Jun 28 2014

Jim was born in Gilmer, Texas and moved to Dallas in his younger years.  He moved to Frisco, Texas in his freshman year of high school.  Jim retired from Rockwell/Collins after 41 years, working and traveling all over the world.  He loved sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers, music, old country being his favorite but loved all music.  Jim had a passion for cars and adventure.  He loved his family and especially the special vacations and outings with them.

He is survived by his wife, Agatha (Gay) Chandler; daughter, Nicole Whatley and husband, Steve; daughter, Nattlie Hoover and husband, Rick; son, Chase Chandler; grandchildren, Meagan Hoover, Macy Hoover and Hayden Hoover.  Jim was preceded in death by his father, William (Bill) Chandler; mother, Doris Biggerstaff and his step-father, Paul Biggerstaff.

The family will receive friends at a Visitation to be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, July 1, 2014.  Interment will be Private for family only.
