James Charlie Cagle

Funeral services for James Charlie Cagle, 88 year old Bonham resident (formerly of Celeste), are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday October 15th at the First Baptist Church of Celeste. Rev. James Ralson and Rev. Jim Sherwin will officiate. Burial will be in the Big A Cemetery at Rowlett. Family visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday October 14th. Mr. Cagle was born April 21, 1922 at Rowlett. His parents were James Harry and Millie Manella Mills Cagle. He was a plumber, a member of the First Baptist Church of Celeste and a World War II Veteran serving in the Philippines. He married Mildred Lorene Smallwood April 2, 1949 at Garland. He passed away Wednesday October 13th at his residence. He is survived by his wife: Mildred L. Cagle of Bonham; his daughter and son-in-law: Debbie and Jack Jernigan of Bonham; his son: Charles Glenn Cagle of Dallas; his grandchildren: Suzanne and Jason Pugh, Mark and Linley Adams, Jennifer and Dalton Cagle; his great grandchildren: Jazmin and Britni Hargis, Joseph Hardison and Katelin & Kailey Pugh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: J.B. Cagle and W.L. Mills and by his sisters: Louise White and Billie Johnson. Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home of Leonard is in charge of arrangements.
