Jaime Cidronio “Jimmy” Johnson passed away after a brief battle with cancer on April 7 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 29. He had beat cancer 16 years ago, but in January it came back. Jimmy was born to Maria Elva Morales and Robert Preston Johnson on March 2, 1993 in New Haven, Connecticut.
He attended St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and had been a member of the Knights of Columbus for more than 10 years. Jimmy was a graduate of the University of North Texas.
He is survived by his mother, Maria Johnson of McKinney, Texas; father, Robert Johnson of Weatherford, Texas; stepfather, Felix Magana of McKinney, Texas; brother, Robert Rolando Johnson, of McKinney, Texas; sister, Emily Hollingsworth and husband, Alexander of McKinney, Texas; brother, Mario Joseph Johnson of McKinney, Texas; aunts and uncles, Francisco Morales and wife, Maria of McKinney, Texas, Veronica Morales of Princeton, Texas, Rolando Morales and wife, Karina of Aubrey, Texas, Sidronio Morales and wife, Amada of Aubrey, Texas, Emilia Morales of Aubrey, Texas, Ladis Lao Morales and wife, Beatrise of Aubrey, Texas, Raunel Morales of Aubrey, Texas, Rosivel Morales of Aubrey, Texas; and grandparents, Cidronio Morales and wife, Emilia of Aubrey, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, Raul Morales and Alejandra Valdes.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 11, 2022 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas. The family will receive guests for a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. A rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.
