Jai was a true global citizen, with his early years spent in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, and Delhi, followed by high school and college in Dallas and New York. In each of these places, he forged lasting friendships and effortlessly connected with people from all walks of life, his remarkable emotional intelligence paving the way for genuine bonds.

Jai was a kind-hearted and selfless soul whose generous spirit touched everyone around him. His unwavering kindness extended to his beloved family members, peers, and all those in need—both people and animals including street dogs in Delhi. His empathy was enriched by a deep understanding of economics, diverse cultures, geography, and design, enabling him to engage in thoughtful conversations on a wide range of subjects with individuals of all ages.

Profoundly in love with India, Jai spent the past three years in New Delhi, where his presence brought joy to his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched, leaving a legacy of warmth and inspiration.

Jai will be dearly missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on forever. He leaves behind his devoted parents, Sanjay and Divya; brother, Rohan; grandfather, Harish Kumar Dhawan; grandmother, Asha Wadhwa; and other loving family members and friends who have been forever touched by his extraordinary kindness and spirit.

A funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Friday, April 4, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
